FULL VIEW PLEASE

"Dear princess. You've been so good to me. I must be selfish to ask, but may I have one last request before this old toad's soul flies?"

"Of.. course..." replied the princess. In her mind ran the thoughts of the most simplest tasks given by the toad. What he would ask for next wouldn't be so difficult, given its tiny brain.

"Will you kiss me?"

She stood, staring in disbelief at the green amphibian. A kiss?! Madness!

However the toad croaked quietly, closing his eyes... the rhythm of his heart began to beat slower... fainter....

"Little toad...?" asked the princess. She nudged him gently with her finger. He didn't move.

In the princess' hesitation, the toad had already left this world. On the other side of the frog was a pool of tears. He had been trying to hide one of his eyes from crying, just so the princess wouldn't shed a tear of her own.

When she had seen this, eye-affecting brine began to form around the corner of her eyes. The toad who had fetched her golden ball, who only asked to eat dinner with her on the table in return, had his soul released from his tiny body, and asked for only one kiss before he left.

It was only then, had the princess realized, the toad loved her dearly.

I don't like how the princess looks, but I DON'T CARE! I completed something BIG. ;; OUT OF MY ART BLOCK TOO. (HURRAY! NO MORE ART BLOCK! I THINK.)

What I liked best about this was the frog and the prince. Wth. Why did they turn out better than the princess?? I frustrated so much with drawing and coloring the princess!!! SAJHDSAJHD took me forever to decide her colors. Now I am regretting the colors.

Uhh anyway HAHAH bout that story. That's not how it REALLY goes... actually, the princess kisses the toad and he turns into the prince, but uh. I wanted this piece to be sad. (Though the colors are a bit contradicting...)

OTL I just realized it was supposed to be FROG not toad. Oh well. He looked more like a toad there.

It looks really shoujo though. Colors and all!
